Glue

Object Use: Administrative | Other
Cultural Region: Central Tibet (√útsang)
Date Range: 20th
Source: C. V. Starr East Asian Library
Notes: (Tib. kha spyin.) This is a stick of glue, which must first be wetted. The Tibetan name suggests this was done by licking it (kha = mouth), and this is confirmed by the dictionary entry in the Bod Rgya tshig mdzod chen mo, v.1, 2004, p. 200.
